Why ask why is the form in which one can know the true meaning of things. in chapter 2 of Pedagogy of the oppressed, shows the meaning in which schools and education make us be in a certain way and we are no conscious of because of the fact that our minds got train to be and act as our “superior” wants us to be. There are lot things and information that we do not understand fully but we do not do nothing and let things move on because all we do is repeat what they say to us and use it in exams and then forget it.
This question really makes us think and realize what we really need to know and understand why things happen the way they do. Knowing that this question will let to the answers we really want to know, we are scare of say it because then is going to get into details and on arguments with our oppressor that we want to prevent from happening. The way that this make us thing scare us and we are afraid because then we know that the details are going to come out and we are going to stay just with the main idea since that is something that our superiors are saying and we sometimes do not want to feel like taking a role in which we do not know the answers.
Also sometimes the answer turn to be hurtful and we better do not want to know it so we do not suffer of feel more inferior. The way that this question is very important is just scare because is full of true information and true meaning to what people/oppressors are telling. The question is full of power that why asking why is just to let us know the true meaning and understand what really is happening.
In conclusion why asking why is a way of saying give me the true meaning and give me what really mean and how this affect, connect or show in my life or why one is telling me this, the true meaning.
